With Pavel Duda from Plaut, the Supply Side will be revitalized
Vienna, 07.04.2015. Pavel Duda has been elected by the ECR Board as of January 1, 2015, as the new Supply Chain Supply. He is an experienced manager in the food and beverage industry as well as business consultants with a very broad network in trade, industry, academia and the service sector
DI Pavel Duda, Centre Manager DACH Food & Beverage at Plaut "For me, ECR is and remains the neutral ground for important decisions between the partners in the value chain. Here, innovations and implementation measures with added value are constantly being agreed on, "comments Pavel Duda, Centre Manager DACH Food & Beverage at Plaut, on his new role as Supply Chain Manager. In doing so he meets ECR's goal of better satisfying the needs of consumers while at the same time releasing huge rationalization potential along the value chain.
High standards of quality and efficiency
"In my career, I have always remained true to my claim to 'quality and efficiency'. As a working group supervisor, I also want to transfer this to the activities within the ECR groups. Therefore, in the working groups, we must keep asking ourselves what added value is what we are discussing or doing? "Pavel Duda comments on his approach.
Pavel Duda has already been able to put this "question of conscience" in the Waste Management Group and, together with the group, carry out a target revival. "It adds momentum to a community and makes it more fun to implement," he adds. "If we succeed in intensifying the already high quality of the results and in streamlining the existing working methods in the groups, I am convinced that we will win more dedicated participants for the working groups, because ECR stands and falls with us!" Pavel Duda explains his perception of the working principle of the ECR:
PLMIV - the Plaut solution to the Food Information Regulation
At Plaut Pavel Duda is currently working on the new product "PLMIV - the Plaut solution to the food information regulation." "With the product PLMIV we turn to manufacturing companies and to grocers who have to implement the new EU regulation and SAP in use to have. With PLMIV, you can manage your data on the LMIV in your existing SAP system and link it to your article master data, "he explains. (For further information please refer to our flyer PLMIV.)
About ECR Austria:
The most important instrument of the ECR Austria Initiative are working groups, which are separated depending on the topics dealt with in demand side and supply side. The topics of these groups arise from new technical developments, legal regulations or current problems that can be solved more efficiently together. Participants are employees of ECR Austria members from all areas of the value chain such as manufacturers, dealers, logistics and electronics service providers.
Together, results and solutions will be developed, which will be published as Best practice recommendation after approval by the ECR Board.
The tasks of the working group leaders are the technical support and coordination of the working groups as well as the presentation of the results in the ECR Austria Board. In Steering Committee meetings, strategic decisions and new working group topics are coordinated with the co-chairmen of the ECR Austria Board, as well as goals and timetables.
